Assigning responsibility

Putting a name on a report, a topic or a disclosure.

A responsible user is the single person who owns a piece of the report. The same control appears at three levels:

• Report: set in report settings, under Team.
• Topic: set in the header of the topic page.
• Disclosure: set in the overview panel at the top of the disclosure.

Start typing a name to search, and pick from the list. The assignment saves immediately. The cross button clears it.

Only people with access to the report can be assigned. Users with read-only access see the name as plain text and cannot change it.

Where it shows up

The responsible user appears on the report overview, on topic and disclosure cards, and as a column in the gap analysis table, which is the practical way to see everything one person still owes.
